ALAMO Car Rental at Houston Airport

Alamo has a rental station counter at the Rental Car Center in Houston Airport. Passengers will have to follow the signs to the baggage claim area. After collection your baggage, please exit the baggage claim area and follow the signs to the shuttle bus pick-up area, located outside each terminal. This bus will take you to the Rental Car Center.

All passengers should proceed to the counter to receive their rental agreement.

Online check-in option

You can check-in online if you would like to save some time when arriving at the Alamo rental counter. By checking in online, you will already have your preferences and driver information ready in the system, at the time you get to the counter.

Take advantage of the Self-Service Kiosk

You also have the opportunity to skip the rental counter lines and save even more time. This can be done by a direct check-in using Alamo's touch-screen kiosk. You will simply have to check-in using the kiosk and afterward, you receive a printed receipt-sized rental agreement. Finally, you will be given instructions for your rental car on the parking lot.

When you get to the exit booth, you just have to show the counter agent your driver’s license and rental agreement.

Returning your rented vehicle

Once you are ready to return your rented vehicle to the airport, you have to follow the signs for Rental Car Returns. Alamo car rental at Houston Airport (IAH) is open 24 hours, Monday to Sunday.
